A small cake company that bakes and delivers cakes for Birthday parties etc. The cakes have a home baked quality, are topped with icing with printed designs.

To create a new brand to appeal more to women, their target customer, primarily for website.

what we did

We created a number of different logo ideas combining the speed of delivery with the freshness of the cakes. On the website we wanted to get across the appeal to the target customer, who were women of a certain age group and further enhance the freshness and home baked quality of the cakes. It was also important to show the celebration, fun aspect which we did by introducing snapshots of kids and families enjoying the cakes. We combined the elements in a scrapbook format with soft colours in the background, spotty tablecloth or stripy china wear with baking implements and ingredients.
